VALE MINORU MOCHIZUKI KANCHO

(11-4-1907 to 30-5-2003)

SADLY MINORU MOCHIZUKI KANCHO PASSED AWAY AT THE END OF MAY 2003. HIS LIFE WAS DEDICATED TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE MARTIAL ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR YOSEIKAN BUDO. MOCHIZUKI KANCHO IS GENERALLY ACKNOWLEDGED TO BE ONE OF THE GREAT MARTIAL ARTISTS OF THE 20TH CENTURY. HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY ALL THOSE WHO WERE IN SOME WAY INFLUENCED BY HIS LIFE.

Vale Mochizuki Seiichi Sensei

It is with great sadness that Yoseikan's Mochizuki Seiichi Sensei (no relation to Mochizuki Shihan) passed away last Sunday (3 Aug 08) by blood poisoning. Mochizuki Seiichi Sensei a member of the YWF will be truly missed by his club in Shimizu Japan and all the the Yoseikan members who knew him both around the world and of course in Japan. Both Teree and I will also greatly miss his friendship and sense of humour.
